Kitchen Taps
A kitchen tap is the most-used piece of brassware in any home — operated dozens of times a day, visibly on show, and central to how the kitchen actually works. Get it right and it transforms how you use the sink; pick the wrong height, swivel arc or finish and you'll notice every day.
Our range covers traditional mixers, pull-out spray models and 3-in-1 / 4-in-1 boiling water systems.
Single-lever mixers are the standard — swivel-spout designs in a wide colour range. Pull-out and pull-down mixers add an extendable spray hose for rinsing pans and filling buckets. 3-in-1 and 4-in-1 hot water taps deliver instant boiling water alongside hot and cold. Filtered water taps offer a separate drinking outlet with dedicated filter cartridge. Twin-handle traditional taps suit period kitchens.
Spout heights typically 250-350mm for everyday models, with deck space requirements specified per product.
Brand range includes InSinkErator (3N1, 4N1 and H3300 hot tap ranges), Abode (New Media, Tubist, Neron), Ravi and Kartell (Brewmaster). Finishes span chrome, brushed stainless, matt black, soft gold and brushed brass. Most hot water models include tank and filter as standard.

Buying Considerations
Single-lever vs. pull-out
Single-lever mixers are the simplest and longest-lasting. Pull-out spray models add functional flexibility but include extra moving parts (hose retract mechanism) that can fail over years of use — a useful upgrade for serious cooks, optional for most households.
Spout height and reach
A spout height of 250-280mm clears most kitchen pots; 300mm+ suits pasta pots and large kettles. Spout reach (the lateral projection) needs to clear the bowl edges of a sink — particularly important for offset 1.5 bowl sinks and Belfast sinks.
Boiling water tap considerations
3-in-1 boiling water taps (hot, cold, boiling) replace a kettle and free counter space. 4-in-1 add filtered water from the same outlet. Both need a tank under the sink — confirm cabinet depth and access space before ordering. Tank capacity affects how many cups you can pour back-to-back.
Finish maintenance
Chrome is the most cleaning-tolerant finish. Matt black and brushed brass need gentler cleaning — avoid limescale removers based on strong acids, which dull the finish over time. Hot taps generate more scale around the spout; periodic descaling extends both finish life and tap performance.
