Some shower enclosures that have been designed for foreign markets are not completely watertight; this is because the bathrooms of continental Europe are usually fully tiled with concrete floors, so the occasional leak is not a problem. Here in the UK, however, where bathroom floors are often made of wood, leaking can present a major problem. Coram shower screens are designed specifically for the British market, and as such are completely watertight.
